Specialized Tests & Inspections
See below for a list of specialized tests and inspections provided by Utah Home Systems.
Radon Testing
Radon is a gas which can be found in the earth and rock beneath a home, in well water, and in building materials. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer. Nearly one in 15 homes in the U.S. has a high level of indoor radon. The U.S. Surgeon General and EPA recommend all homes be tested for radon.

Mold Testing
Mold may begin growing indoors when mold spores land on surfaces that are wet. Inhaling or touching mold or mold spores may cause allergic reactions in
sensitive individuals. Allergic reactions to mold are common. Molds can also cause asthma attacks in people with asthma who are allergic to mold.

Yard Sprinklers
If you are concerned about how your sprinkler system was installed, or if damage may have been caused by weather or age, you may consider a yard sprinkler inspection with or without a full home inspection. The inspector can give you suggestions to optimize your yard irrigation to minimize water waste and keep your lawn properly irrigated.
